What should I expect?

On your first visit you will be asked to complete a standard questionaire that will include a short screening form. This is to highlight any conditions that maybe contraindicated by massage. Then we will ask you about your work and lifestyle to build a picture of how life is impacting on you.

Will it hurt?

We will work with you to ascertain your level of pain and our aim is always to ultimately reduce your pain, but some people may experience a moderate or increased discomfort.However you are always in control as we work on a graduated scale (that will be explained) so we, as therapists, always work within the clients preferred boundaries.

Where does the treatment take place?

Treatment is normally done at our premises, but we can travel to you within a reasonable radius, however this would incur an additional cost to be agreed prior to treatment.

What should I wear?

Wear loose fitting, comfortable outer clothing. Please bring a pair of shorts to wear during the massage

What massage lotions do you use?

We use hypoallergenic lotions, nut based sweet almond oil or massage wax. We can discuss any allergies with you before treatment.
